Residents living at Pine Meadows always find plenty of ways to enjoy their day, with a variety of activities taking place indoors and out. At Pine Meadows you can be as active or as laid back as you like, and enjoy all the wonderful amenities our facility has to offer.
Be Involved
There are an abundance of activities and events throughout the year to keep you active and involved. Enjoy social and recreational activities in our 10,000 square foot Community Centre, which offers pool, hot tub, sauna, exercise room, craft room, lounge, library, games room, and grand hall with kitchen. In addition, we have a 1200+ square foot woodworking/carving shop. It’s the perfect place to meet friends and other residents.
Outdoors on our grounds we offer many other activities, including, tennis/pickle ball courts, horseshoes, campfire pit, shuffleboard, and garden plots, which add to your leisurely lifestyle.
Relax
We live in a relaxed and casual atmosphere, where the norm is no longer the mad rush out the door, but a quiet ease into the day. It’s just a way to live better, where putting your feet up and reading a book is so easy to do; where stopping for a chat with a neighbour is always a pleasant experience.
So take a deep breath, and exhale. You’ve come home. To a community of folks you’ll come to know; who care about you; who respect you, your boundaries and privacy. A community of people who like to have fun in the gracious environment so well cared for by the operators of Pine Meadows.
Get Creative
You can do as much or as little as you like.
We offer a variety of crafts and creative expression sessions each week that you may enjoy, or bring along your talent to teach others. There is a very active wood carving club that you may wish to learn or share your experience.
If you’re seeking quiet, you can wander our landscaped walking trails and relax in the gardens.
In nearby Fergus and Elora, there’s theatre, music, and cultural events to add variety to your stress-free lifestyle.
Just outside our community is a 27- hole golf course, where you could be a part of one of the leagues. In addition, fishing, swimming, boating and kayaking are favourite activities on Belwood Lake.
With all this space for doing what makes you happy, residents at Pine Meadows know that moving from a larger home is not a question of downsizing, but rightsizing!
